What happens if it rains on your wedding day




















I remember that as I was home finishing up my make up, when I saw the sky turned completely dark, and then a huge storm broke out, right before my ceremony. Water was coming down like falls.

My soon-to be husband and my friends had already decided to go under the arches of Bethesda Terrace. She said, "overcast defuses the light nicely. I wouldn't say it makes better photos necessarily, but a bonus is that it gives you more versatility, as far as where you can shoot, because you don't have to avoid harsh lighting or shadow. As a meteorologist, I always chuckle when I think about how the peak wedding season coincides with severe weather season and hurricane season.

Another popular wedding month is September, a very busy hurricane month. Even if you're not getting married in an Atlantic coast state, guests that travel from hurricane-prone states may have trouble traveling. We can also accessorize with cute bubble umbrellas and bright rainboots! You know that refreshing scent after the rain, just when the sun starts peaking back through the clouds? Tears Rain on your wedding day is good luck because it symbolizes the last tears that the bride will shed for the rest of her life.
