Then a custom recovery and then a rom to replace ur phones current software, flash image gui apk to flash the recovery, and u need the latest gapps file. First download everything and dont open them yet. After ur done downloading go and install gingerbreak let it run then click Root Device,after it reboots click allow and remeber super user permerssions. Then open ur flash image gui apk allow super user then only click flash recovery after u choose ur downloaded recovery from before.
Dont click on the kernal option. After it flashs turn off ur phone hold the power button, vol down, and home key all at once. After it boots into recovery important click back up and back up ur current system important to do this first. After its done click wipe cache, advanced, wipe dalvix cache, mounts and storag, format boot, format system, format data, and format cache in that order.

That's kinda the core choice-- you either want Apple's ready-to-go, no configuration necessary approach, or you want google's "configure it exactly the way you want it on any of a zillion different devices" approach.
Both are perfectly valid, but if you wanted a wider array of configurations, why did you buy an iPhone? If you've had to jailbreak to do something, you probably don't actually want an iPhone next time. BTW I was looking and can't find it, but there's no processing tasks, like how many numerical operations the phones can do. At the end of the day the only test of performance that really tells you anything is how a computer crunches numbers. And frame rates don't necessarily reflect the actual capabilities of the hardware.
The graphics on Apple's smartphone run twice as fast as they do on the Android flagship phones from Samsung and Google. And the human eye can't tell the difference between those frame rates, indeed there's nothing in day to day phone usage that such frame rates are even a benefit for. Nor anything that could be made where they'd be a benefit. Call me crazy, but i find the ability to make calls, send text messages, and use whatever apps i have knowledge of perfectly fine on an unrooted phone.
