This is a bit of a tricky question to answer, as the length of validity of your certificate can change from state to state. It also depends on a number of factors, such as when the course was completed.
If you are still unsure, contact your relevant government body. Those with a Victorian RSA must complete a refresher course every three years in order for it to remain valid. However, if you were also issued a Statement of Attainment in Provide Responsible Service of Alcohol, this does not expire. It appears you already have a document pending approval. Please do not upload the same submission multiple times as this will slow down the approval process. The uploaded file must be manually approved before this task will be set to completed and you can continue with your course.
If you cannot produce one of the above documents please contact us for details of other documents which may be accepted. If you have a current Competency Card you cannot re-complete the course while it is current.
You can check if you have a Current Competency Card or endorsement here. If you are unsure if you have a current Competency Card or need assistance checking this you must contact our Support Staff. By continuing you accept responsibility for providing correct and accurate information about your Competency Card currency and understand that should you be found ineligible to undertake the course or receive a new NSW RSA Competency Card you may not be entitled to a refund.

It gives participants the skills and knowledge necessary to contribute to a safe, enjoyable environment in licensed premises.
If you have completed this course in the immediate preceding 3 years then you may only be required to complete the VCGLR online refresher course. At AAAT we very proud of the business we have built, and wanted to let you know why we think we are different to the other training companies.
If you chose AAAT for your training you will get;. The Access All Areas training programme is one of the best training modules I have completed. Just a quick email to mention how Alicia was exceptional with me today. She helped me throughout my RSA NSW online course and even stayed after work to make sure I would get my certificate -she saved my job and deserves the ''employee of the month''.
I really appreciated the videos to make the situations more realistic. I also appreciated the 2nd and 3rd opportunities to get the answer correct rather than just being rejected as unsuccessful.
It was also extremely helpful to know you were just a phone call away when I got really stuck. The system was easy to navigate through and their customer service was excellent. This nationally recognised unit describes the performance outcomes, skills and knowledge required to responsibly sell or serve alcohol. Responsible practices must be undertaken wherever alcohol is sold or served, including where alcohol samples are served during on-site product tastings.
This unit, therefore, applies to any workplace where alcohol is sold or served, including all types of hospitality venues, packaged liquor outlets and wineries, breweries and distilleries. The unit applies to all levels of sales personnel involved in the sale, service and promotional service of alcohol in licensed premises. Those selling or serving alcohol may include food and beverage attendants; packaged liquor salespersons selling in person, over the phone or online; winery, brewery and distillery cellar door staff; and supplier sales representatives.
The unit also applies to security staff who monitor customer behaviour and to the licensee who is ultimately responsible for responsible service of alcohol RSA management. Some legislative requirements and knowledge will differ across borders. In some cases, after completion of this unit, state and territory liquor authorities require candidates to complete a bridging course to address these specific differences.
Your course will take you around six 6 hours to work through the learning material and then up to four 4 hours of assessment, depending upon your previous experience. To ensure that you meet the learning outcomes for this unit, you are asked to complete the following General Assessment requirements — there are two 2 main sections of the assessment — Knowledge and Performance.
Learners can expect to complete the following requirements during assessment: The learner will move through five 5 modules of learning content.
After the completion of each of the five 5 modules, a multi choice questionnaire will be presented, allowing the learner to confirm their training, based on the module just completed. A total of fifty-one 44 questions in the formative process will be completed before moving onto the next phase of assessment. All question must be answered correctly in order to move on to the next module.
Failure of a question will mean the learning will have to be undertaken again. A further seventeen 17 questions will be provided to the learner, thirteen 13 of those questions require the learner to view a series of video content.
The learner must then provide, in their own words, their own interpretation of viewed content. Remaining questions require the learner to source, read and interpret statutory legislative documents and identify in their answer the correct response. All answers must meet the benchmark requirements in order to be marked as correct. All questions must be answered correctly.
A further series of six 6 interactive videos filmed in a hospitality simulated workplace environment will be viewed by the learner. The learner is required to interact with the video scenarios, submitting correct responses. There are between five to ten questions per video scenario. Each scenario must be answered correctly before being allowed to move onto the next section.
The three 3 role plays will depict a variety of differing scenarios and are presented as an upload video to the RTO for further assessment. Each video asks you to complete a particular required skill. This must be demonstrated in the video.
