The Jaguars have hired Denard Robinson as an offensive quality control coach, per source. Robinson was a fifth-round pick for Jacksonville in after his time at Michigan as a QB and one of the best players in the country. Robinson, 29, last played for the Jaguars in and was drafted by the team in the fifth round of the NFL Draft.

The nerve damage in Robinson's right elbow continues to hamper him, which he says could be the result of trying to play through the pain. But perhaps in some way, the injury was a blessing.
Although he certainly would have preferred to finish his career at quarterback, he was forced into a three-game utility role that gave him experience at tailback and receiver, roles he could fill in the NFL.
And just as importantly, it helped Robinson embrace, rather than simply accept, a future that does not include him at quarterback. God made that injury happen for a reason. And I want to take it and roll with it.
So, Robinson knew he wouldn't be a quarterback in the NFL. But to which position should he move?
